Psychological Associations Presentation and Panel Discussion - March 7th, 2011
The Professional Development Committee organized an event in which representatives from various associations and colleges CP students will register with presented information on registration requirements and professional options within counselling, psychology, and psychotherapy.
Representatives from the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA), the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists (OSP) attended.

Alumni Student Guidance Event – Monday, March 28th, 2011
The Professional Development Committee organized an event in which graduates from the various programs in the department spoke about their transition from AECP to a career in their field.
10 alumni in total attended, 5 from AE and 5 from CP. Two concurrent keynote addresses were held in adjoining rooms for the respective programs which were followed by question-and-answer/networking sessions. The alumni provided invaluable knowledge for the current and prospective students in attendance.
