Eleanor Gower, Interim Director, SUPO/Student Services

As Interim Director, Eleanor provides direction for the development and maintenance of educational, supportive and responsive services to OISE students.  She acts as chief spokesperson for OISE Student Services, and serves as an administrative advocate for OISE student concerns.

Carrie Chassels, Supervisor, Student and Personal Support Services

Carrie is responsible for the co-ordination of various activities that provide personal support to students. This includes the administration of the OISE bursary programme for both teacher education and graduate students, financial counselling, and working with students with disabilities and students at risk. Carrie is the primary source of referral to other services within the University and is best equipped to advise students regarding policies and procedures within OISE and the University at large.

Margaret Brennan, Graduate Studies Financial Awards Officer

As the Graduate Studies Financial Awards Officer, Margaret is responsible for support related to the Guaranteed Funding Packages, Graduate Assistantships and the Emergency Student Loan Programme. Margaret coordinates the OISE SSHRC and OGS application process, and advises students on eligibility for various internal and external awards.

Amy Lobo, TEP Centre Co-ordinator

Amy is the coordinator of the Teacher Employment Preparation Centre.  She provides guidance and support on career exploration, job search and interview skills, she also coordinates the co-curricular workshop series for B.Ed. students.

Mary MacDonell, Graduate Programming Co-ordinator

Mary plans and implements co-curricular programming for graduate students. She administers the OSAP program, authorizing loans, and interest-free status forms. Mary is responsible for communications activities for the SUPO/Student Services unit: print materials, the coordination of web development and web maintenance.

Lise Watson, Bursary Administrator
