Teacher Education Awards

Teacher Education students who are enrolled in the Master of Teaching program or the M.A. in Child Study and Education program should consult the list of OISE Graduate Awards. Some of these awards are open to all OISE graduate students while others are availabe only to students in a specific OISE graduate-level teacher education program.
 

 

 

Awards for Concurrent Teacher Education Program Students:

The following awards are available for CTEP students enrolled in the 2016-17 academic year:
 

Bertha and Howard Robertson Award

One or more awards to the total of the annual income of the endowment will be made to a person or persons registered in the Primary/Junior division of the OISE Bachelor of Education program who best demonstrated academic achievement and a strong desire to teach children in the Primary/Junior grades. To be eligible, candidates must also demonstrate financial need and be an Ontario resident.

The application deadline has passed for the 2016-2017 academic year.

 

Prof. Arthur Louden Memorial Scholarship in Science

One or more awards to the total of the annual income of the endowment will be made to a person or persons registered in the intermediate/senior division of the OISE Bachelor of Education program who are enrolled in Science (biology or chemistry or physics or science- general) and who best demonstrated high academic achievement in biology or chemistry or physics and a desire to teach science. The maximum value of each award is $5,000.

The application deadline has passed for the 2016-2017 academic year.
