Practicum Support

For teacher candidates who qualify for accommodation, the following examples of provisions might be recommended:

• Provisions for absence during practicum to facilitate medical appointments or other forms of treatment

• The opportunity for short breaks throughout the day

• Access to technological alternatives to writing on the blackboard

Other forms of accommodation are also provided on an individualized basis.
