Tutor Doctor

TEACHERS AND TEACHER CANDIDATES WANTED!!

Tutor Doctor is currently the leader in providing one-on-one in home tutoring for all subjects and ages. Since 2009, Tutor Doctor Vaughan has been providing premium tutoring services to students in the Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, and Toronto areas.  Our students are in your neighbourhood!

TUTOR DOCTOR is looking for dedicated and committed individuals that enjoy teaching and helping students reach their full potential.

Our tutors enjoy fulfilling part-time work with flexible hours and gain valuable teaching experience working with a variety of students with different needs and learning styles.

AREAS OF SPECIALTY – All Grades and Subjects

Maths - all levels, even university/college - especially gr. 11/12:  Calculus, Advanced Functions, Data Management

Science - all levels - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Exercise Science

English - all levels – Literature, Essay writing, Language, ESL,

French – all levels,  Core French and French Immersion – all subjects taught in French

Business/Finance/Accounting courses up to College/University

Special Needs – Autism, ADD, ADHD, learning disabilities

 

Locations:  Vaughan, Kleinburg, Brampton, Etobicoke, Richmond Hill, North York, Thornhill, Markham

Compensation:  $18-20/hour flat rate


QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal background preferred: Certified teacher or Teacher candidate, Early childhood educator/Graduate student/Teaching assistant

1)      Previous teaching/tutoring experience a plus, especially exposure to different learning styles

2)      Previous experience with special needs and/or learning disabilities a plus

3)      Access to a vehicle or public transportation

4)      Willingness to apply for vulnerable sector criminal background check

5)      Availability during peak tutoring hours (4-9pm weeknights and weekends)
