IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TEACHER CANDIDATES
2012-2013 Teacher Candidates
► Report Your Practicum Absence
OISE policy requires that Teacher Candidates be in attendance for the total number of days as designated in the Practice Teaching Schedule. Absences of any nature, during STEP, Orientation, MIT days or Practicum, could necessitate a make-up session. In the event of absences from practicum, Teacher Candidates must carry out the following procedures:

For each day of absence, a Teacher Candidate will inform the SUPO Office via email or by phone. Please provide your name, your Option/SP# or MIT/UofT unit, date of absence and practicum school.
♦ Consecutive TCs: Report your absence to SUPO via email or by phone at 416-978-2202 press 1.
♦ Concurrent TCs: Report your absence to SUPO via email or by phone at 416-978-2202 press 2.

For each day of absence, a Teacher Candidate will inform the school office and his/her Associate Teacher by 7:00 a.m. Teacher Candidates are responsible for conveying lesson plans, relevant handouts etc. to their Associate Teacher by 8:30 am on the day of said absence unless other arrangements have been negotiated.

Be sure to retain copies of your summative evaluations as you may only access archived summative evaluations from the SUPO database for one year past graduation.
