About Naraindra Prashad
Naraindra has been actively practicing yoga for the past 15 years. Nine years ago he became certified as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance of Canada and has since been teaching at various locations in the GTA. He subsequently trained in and completed an Applied Specialization in Mindful Meditation and incorporates these techniques in his yoga practice and teaching. Naraindra continues to stay current and balanced in his life by participating in courses and training through various conferences and organizations in the Yoga and Mindfulness communities.
In 2016 Naraindra retired from a very fulfilling career at the University of Toronto where he held a number of positions in the business sector of the University. In his last 10 years he held the position of Director, Operations & Finance in the Office of the Governing Council. He can attest to the “busy” world of a University environment and will share with you mindful techniques for helping to remain calm even during the “storms” of everyday life.
