PHOTOS: Surprise! Retiring educator, Jane Witte, honoured with endowed OISE scholarship

During her Aug. 7th retirement party at OISE, educator Jane Witte was surprised as OISE announced the establishment of The Jane Witte Scholarship at the University of Toronto, a generous, endowed $250,000 gift from her son Zach Witman and his husband Michael Witman. 

The scholarship honours Jane’s distinguished career in education and her lifelong commitment to teaching and learning.

OISE, with the help of photographer Jenna Muirhead, captured the surprise and the celebration.
