Dr. Naomi Slonim is a registered School and Clinical Psychologist specializing in assessment and intervention with children, adolescents and families.

She has a Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto, and she completed a post-doctoral clinical fellowship at the Hincks Dellcrest Centre with a focus on social-emotional and personality assessment and relationally based therapies that strengthen attachment such as play therapy, dyadic (parent-child) therapies and family therapy. She also uses CBT, DBT and mindfulness techniques.

She has practised in school and clinical settings in Toronto, including Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, the Toronto District School Board, Surrey Place Centre, the Hospital for Sick Children and CAMH.

Dr. Slonim is a part-time faculty in the School and Clinical Child Psychology Program at OISE where she teaches courses on ethical issues in applied psychology and therapeutic approaches.
