While our doors are closed for in-person psychological services during COVID-19, the OISE Psychology Clinic has transitioned from providing in-person psychotherapy to on-line psychotherapy for clients who wish to receive service.  We currently have availability, although limited, to provide individual tele-psychotherapy for adolescents and children. Our adult service will re-open in September.  We are also developing an intervention program to provide support for parents with children at home during COVID-19.

COVID-19 Coping Resources
To support our community, we put together some resources to help you cope and connect amidst COVID-19. We hope it helps. And remember, if you are in crisis and need to talk to someone right away, please use one of the following 24/7 emergency counselling services:

The OISE Psychology Clinic provides comprehensive and confidential assessment and intervention services to children and adolescents, and assessment and counselling services to adults. These services are typically provided by graduate students doing their clinical training under the supervision of faculty and staff psychologists.

The OISE Psychology Clinic provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy services to children/adolescents and adults for emotional, social, interpersonal and academic concerns.

As part of the intake process, we will assess whether our trainees have sufficient knowledge, training and experience necessary to provide services to a client before initiating the service. Where we don’t feel we can meet a client’s needs, we will provide referrals to other mental health providers.
