Theming your MEd Degree with APHD

As a student at OISE, you have the ability to choose your electives based on course themes, both from within your home department, and from the courses of other departments.

Themes are provided to give applicants a refreshed perspective on the variety and commonality of course topics available at OISE. They are not an exhausitive example of all courses or all possible shared themes. 

Themes will not appear on your transcript. Students may choose to take as many or as few courses within a theme as they choose, and do not have to complete any set number of courses within a theme.

Students in the APHD MEd program may find pursuing a course theme attractive because the MEd program allows for eight electives, allowing you to flexibly focus your degree. There is no formal application process, and no background knowledge is required to pursue a theme.
