Join us for a relaxed afternoon as we wrap up the term and celebrate the diversity of the APHD community!
Enjoy dishes inspired by 15 countries and regions, explore cultural art booths (henna, Chinese calligraphy bookmarks, button making), and take part in some fun trivia.
Feel free to wear traditional attire if you’d like.
Event Agenda
12:00 - 12:20 PM: Welcome & Opening
We’ll start the afternoon with a land acknowledgement and opening remarks, followed by a Tamil lamp lighting and a smudge ceremony.
12:20 - 1:30 PM: Food & Cultural Experience
This is your time to explore, connect, and enjoy! Move freely between activities and food stations:
- Get a henna design
- Make your own button
- Try Chinese calligraphy bookmarks
- Create a red thread bracelet with little stones
- Add your pin to our “Where We’re From” world map
- Enjoy food inspired by 15 countries and regions, and mingle
1:30 - 2:00 PM: Trivia & Community Fun
Stick around for a fun and easy-going trivia session hosted by the APHD Student Association.
