Women's Educational Resource Collection (WERC)

Created by Frieda Forman of the CWSE, WERC was a unique collection within the OISE library, specializing in women's studies. It was Canada's largest feminist documentation centre, and covered humanities, social sciences, the arts, issue-oriented publications; and included international reference journals, periodicals, and popular publications emerging from women's studies programmes and feminist movements around the world.

The collection included French material. Limited materials were also available in Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, and Swedish.

The WERC collection has now been integrated into the general OISE library. All content can still be found under a subject heading, title, author, etc.
