OISE Feminist Studies

OISE Students can specialize in Women and Gender Studies by combining their graduate studies (masters or doctoral programs) in a collaborative program. The Women and Gender Studies option can be combined within the following OISE/UT programs and departments: Adult Education and Community Development; Counselling Psychology; Curriculum, Teaching and Learning; Humanities, Social Sciences and Social Justice.

Applicants must meet the admission requirements of a participating department. They must also indicate Women and Gender Studies when application is made.

It is expected that the majority of the required departmental and extra-departmental courses will be in the area of Women and Gender Studies. Courses will be determined in consultation with the faculty advisor.

Faculty Advisors
Students will be advised by faculty from their home department who are also participants in the Women and Gender Studies interdepartmental specialization.
