Dr. Nora Gold becomes CWSE's first Writer-in-Residence

Dr. Nora Gold, CWSE Associate Scholar, has been named the CWSE's Writer-in-Residence. Dr. Gold has been an Senior Associate at the CWSE since 2000. She is a writer, a researcher, an activist, and the editor of the prestigious online literary journal, JewishFiction.net. Dr. Gold’s first book, Marrow and Other Stories, won one of the Canadian Jewish Book Awards, and was shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Award for best first story collection in Canada. Alice Munro, after reading the title story “Marrow,” wrote Gold: “Bravo!”
