Our Partners

The Deepening Knowledge project collaborates with many other groups working to improve the lives of aboriginal people and help educate people about aboriginal traditions, history, and pedagogy. Some of our partners are listed below.

Promising Practices in Aboiginal Education Banner

Promising Practices in Aboriginal Education is supported by the Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative (MAEI), whose guiding vision is to empower Aboriginal students with the knowledge and confidence they need to complete secondary school and to continue their education. They offer monthly outreach events, and help educators share their successful stories and approaches to educating Aboriginal youth.

First Nations House photoFirst Nations House (FNH) is a centre at U of T that provides a number of culturally supportive student services and programs to Aboriginal students and the general university community. You can also check out their online and print publication, First Nation House Magazine.
