Site is very relevant for all teachers needs. Content is timely and consistently updated.
The author is clearly indicated and is very well educated on this content area. Everyone know’s Dave!!

There are many forums for discussion on content and divergent perspectives. Site provides diverse perspectives on different topics. All sources are clearly cited.

Dave is available to answer your emails. His contact information is provided.

Navigation is very simple and there is not a lot of scrolling required. Navigation bars allow us to move to different places within the site.

Site encourages interaction between author and users and among users. Site encourages intercultural interactive and collaborative opportunities. The site invites critical examination of divergent perspectives through interactive forums and online evaluation.
There are links to other websites and resources provided. Site is free of material that may be oppressive to one or more groups of students.


The target age group is not clearly indicated.
There are virtually no graphic images other than pictures of Dave and his family.
We did not witness any evidence of quality control.
We are not sure if this website is affiliated with an identified education organization, if it is it is not clearly stated.
Site does not use a variety of media to effectively engage students with varying learning styles.


We would definitely recommend this resource to teachers (not only ESL/EFL teachers). There are great resources available to help you modify lessons, and there are lessons already prepared for teachers. One of the best things about this site is that you can chat online to other teachers/professionals and share ideas and experiences.
This website is also useful if you are interested in teaching abroad.
