Education Commons
The EC reception is on the 3rd floor of OISE.  EC services include the library, computer labs, OISENet which is the institutional email system, technical support, research services, and much more. 

A UTORid account is required to access all UT and OISE computers, the wireless network, and the blackboard portal.

Registrar's Office
Information on course selection, application, admission and registration processes.

ROSI (Repository of Student Information)
ROSI is UofT's Student Web Service (SWS) where students add and drop courses, get on waiting lists for courses, access your transcripts, and financial information. 

OISE Student Services
OISE Student Services has information on conferences and workshops; financial services, such as bursary applications and graduate assistantships, and support services for students. 

U of T Student Services
The U of T Student Services offers the Graduate Student Initiative program which offers workshops, social events, and online resources to enhance the graduate student experience.

Graduate Student Union (GSU)
Please see the GSU for information on your healthcare and dental benefits plan.  Click Here for a helpful booklet describing in detail your health benefits. The GSU also issues free International Student Identity Cards (ISIC), which gets you discounts on travel, such as discounted via rail tickets.  The GSU also has a pub/cafe that offers good food at cheap prices. The GSU is located at 16 Bancroft Avenue (closest main intersection is Spadina & College). 

Teaching Assistants' Training Program (TATP)
A free-of-charge peer-training program for currently- registered students who are and who will be working as teaching assistants for University of Toronto.


International Students

International Student Centre (ISC)
The ISC is open to both Canadian and International Students.  They provide a variety of services and programs to promote a healthy cultural and academic experience for all students at the University of Toronto.

Student Life

Hart House
Services at Hart House include: Fitness equipment, indoor track, drop-in fitness classes, student clubs, gallery grill, music, theatre, hairdressing...

Athletic Centre
Swimming, golf, 200m indoor track, four courts, cardio equipment, and drop-in fitness.

Varsity Stadium
The Varsity Stadium, just across OISE, is open to all U of T students who may want to take a break and get some exercise during the day. For recreational track times, please see click here.

University of Toronto Legal Services
Downtown Legal Services (DLS) is a legal clinic operated by Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto.




Canadian Federation of Students
The Canadian Federation of Students provides students with an effective and united voice, provincially and nationally.

CUPE 3902 (Tepas & TAs)
The Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 3902, is the trade union that represents all short-term instructional staff at the UofT, in three units.

United Steelworkers (RAs)
USW - Local 1998 represents administrative and technical staff at the University of Toronto.
