Welcome to the Kids, Families and Places Study (KFP) website!

Starting in 2006, we began a study to focus on Kids, Families and their overall wellbeing.  Over the years we have learned a lot about kids' early achievements, understanding other people, skills for school entry, family life, biological influences and the impact of neighbourhoods.

Please take some time to tour our website and learn about all of our findings and how we got there.

With thanks to Toronto and Hamilton Public Health, the many Toronto and Hamilton school boards who participated, our students who helped with all of our research and most important the parents and kids who devoted their time and effort to the study and who stayed with us for so long!  Thank you all for your support!
