Research Overview

Dr. Lopez's teaching and research focus on antiracist, decolonizing, culturally responsive and socially just leadership in education and schooling. Research methodologies include narrative inquiry, collaborative action research, case studies, and biographical research. Dr. Lopez is interested in examining school leadership across contexts, and especially the Global South.
