EFFECTIVE WRITING IN ACADEMIA AND THE WORKPLACE Join OISE alum and U of T faculty member Dr. Cindy Sinclair and her colleague Leslie Ann, author and STEM ambassador, for a new writing workshop designed for OISE mentors and mentees. In both student life and work life, effective writing is a crucial element to success. Poor quality academic papers, assignments and dissertations can lead to unsatisfactory grades and disappointments. Poor expression of thoughts in the workplace can lead to unrecognition and missed opportunities.
In this session, learn how to reflect, analyze, plan and produce effective writing that transfers your thoughts into texts in academia and the working world. Participants should come prepared to engage in a virtual writing exercise. |
