David E. Hunt Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching
The David E. Hunt Award recognizes outstanding contributions to teaching and learning at the graduate level at OISE. This award was created as a tribute to Professor David Hunt on the occasion of his retirement from OISE, to honor his 50 years in university teaching, and in acknowledgement of his enormous contributions to graduate teaching
Award for Excellence in Initial Teacher Education
The Award for Excellence in Initial Teacher Education recognizes outstanding contributions to teaching and learning based on excellence in teaching and/or supervision in initial teacher education, demonstrated impact on teacher candidates and tge ability to foster an enriching teaching and learning experience. This award was created to acknowledges the important role initial teacher education plays in OISE’s mandate, and the value placed on excellent teaching.
Awards for Distinguished Contributions to Teaching
The Awards for Distinguished Contributions to Teaching recognize specific contributions to teaching excellence at OISE by any instructor, including special initiatives or projects.
Award for Excellence in Continuing Education
The Award for Excellence in Continuing Education acknowledges the important role that continuing education plays in OISE's outreach to educational communities and recognizes excellent teaching within this unit.
