Access options
You have the following choices for access to your media:
- Free access -- freely viewable by anyone anywhere in the world
- UofT only access -- users must log in with a UTORid in order to view your media files
You will be asked to choose one of these options when you upload your media file.
Viewing options
All media files are converted to a streamable format. Streamable files may be viewed, but your users can not easily save and redistribute your media file.
You may also choose to make your files downloadable. This option allows your users to save your media file to their own device and view it later, much like a podcast. This also opens up the possibility that your media file may be easily redistributed.
You will be asked whether you wish your media file to be made available for download when you upload your media file.
