Description:
As a new teacher, you need to be equipped to help your students successfully and ethically navigate the digital world.
Join us at a digital literacy education workshop in the Library to learn essential digital literacy skills and competencies, understand the digital experiences of Canadian youth, and familiarize yourself with the resources and tools that are available through the digital literacy framework.
This session is for graduate students who work with students from JK to Grade 6, and may be considered for the CCR (Co-Curricular Record) Please bring your own device (phone, tablet etc.)
Dates & Times:
MT & MA-CSE: December 12, 2017
Grades K-6 focus, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Grades 7 - 12 Focus, 1:00 - 4:00pm
CTEP: January 11, 2018, 9:00am - 12:00 pm
Location: All Media Smarts sessions take place in the OISE Library
