Enacting endogenous science for capacity building through a community innovation project (VIP) in Kenya

Summary:
This project analyses the learning occurring as high school youth and adults find a solution to a participant-selected problem in the community linked to a Sustainable Development Goal, in this case access to clean water and sanitation. This project employs local knowledges in a capacity-building exercise. In addition to identifying specific solutions to a pressing community issue, participants are learning about the nature scientific inquiry.
