The wellbeing of our community, including staff & faculty, is one of OISE's top priorities. We are working hard to enhance our wellness programming in response to our community's diverse needs, particularly during these challenging and uncertain times. OISE is committed to promoting learning and practice opportunities that contribute to both individual and collective healing and change.
OISE's Spring Wellness Day
Registration is now open for OISE’s Spring Wellness Day on June 20, 2022.
We encourage you to participate in as many activities as you find interesting between 10:00am-4:00pm on June 20, 2022. On offer is a range of sessions that align with the feedback we heard from the community through the recent OISE Wellness survey. The schedule of activities include:
- 10:00am: Deskercise 101 – Exercises to Reduce Pain while Sitting | Dr. Nekessa Remy, DC RAc.
- 11:00am: Sleep Hygiene | Dr. Jenny Rogojanski
- 12:00pm-2:00pm: Personal Wellness Break | Dedicated time for participants to practice wellness in their own way
- 2:00pm: Food, Nutrition & Your Health | Kristine Faza, CNP
- 3:00pm: Gardening, Landscaping & Wellness | Sharon Bowler, OHA
