A reminder, when you eat, please be considerate of the people and place around you. Be mindful that some food and food odours may create challenges for others. Respect your surroundings and tidy up after your meal - making it more pleasant for the next person who enters the space. Also take a moment to consider our custodial staff - take a moment and thank them for their efforts.  

Common Areas within OISE

  • OISE Café ground floor (open area at the entrance at 252 Bloor St. W.)
  • 2nd floor (vending machines - soon to include microwaves & benches)
  • 5th floor open area just west of elevators (microwaves & sinks available)
  • Small kitchenettes with sink located on every floor (some w/microwave & kettle). Acquaint yourself with the location closest to you. These are typically situated to the left of the public washrooms in the corridor.

OISE Open Spaces (sometimes booked for events)

  • 12th floor Nexus Lounge is used by OISE students, staff and faculty (vending machines, microwaves, sinks & fridge are located in the kitchen)
