Biography
Christine Apiot is a scholar-practitioner, educator, and community builder committed to creating learning spaces where marginalized girls and women can thrive. She is a PhD student in Social Justice Education at the University of Toronto and a researcher with the Brookings Institution, where she studies feminist, community-led educational practices that support marginalized girls. Her work is grounded in over a decade of experience in education programming and research, including leading accelerated learning programs and youth initiatives across diverse communities.
