Biography
Liza is a second-year EdD student working to grow a place-based, communal model of education in Mississippi. One rooted in the land, shaped by the people, and grounded in empowerment and resistance within Mississippi's marginalized communities. Her work seeks to cultivate a sustainable learning commons created with the community, reflecting its histories, needs, and hopes.
