Biography
Meagan is a EdD student examining Métis-specific conceptualizations of mental health in rural Ontario with a focus on Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Region 7. Her work employs a qualitative and community-informed approach grounded in Two-Eyed Seeing to engage Métis Elders and Knowledge Keepers in identifying culturally welcoming psychotherapy practices. This data will be analyzed to develop practitioner guidelines that support Métis self-determination and culturally competent care.
