Biography
Naheed Mukhi is a parenting and early childhood curriculum developer and a doctoral student in the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Department at the University of Toronto. Naheed has collaborated with numerous Canadian organizations through research, education, and advocacy initiatives to support newly arrived refugees and immigrant families in preserving their home cultures and languages. Her work spans the development and implementation of early childhood education curricula and educator training programs in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Europe, Syria and East Africa.
