Biography

Sahra is a first year PhD student in the Curriculum and Pedagogy program, a Registered Early Childhood Educator and an Ontario Certified Teacher for the Toronto District School Board. Her work focuses on critical pedagogy, early childhood education, and teacher education, with a particular emphasis on promoting educational equity, community-based learning, and the wellbeing of children. She engages in critical studies to explore how cultural, social, and technological contexts shape learning experiences and teacher practices, aiming to create reflective and transformative approaches in education.
