Biography

Sarah is currently in her second year of a part-time EdD programme. Her research hopes to explore the capabilities of volunteers working with newcomers, in particular when they teach about Canadian history and Indigenous-settler relationships. It will also hope to explore the complex dynamics of small-towns in rural Ontario and how to unsettle white settler concepts to better facilitate newcomer integration.
