Tshweu Moleme
Biography
Tshweu Moleme is an educator and labour activist whose academic work explores the intersections of work, education, technology, and social change. His research examines how workers experience and resist alienation under contemporary capitalism, with attention to labour movements, social democracy, race, gender, colonialism, and working-class consciousness in shaping political outcomes and possibilities for social transformation. He teaches in the Faculty of Education at Lakehead University, employing a critical, justice-oriented approach that integrates theory and praxis to advance reflective and socially conscious pedagogical practices. His work at OISE is situated within a joint collaboration between the Social Justice Education Department (SJE) and the Workplace Learning and Social Change Department (LHAE).
