Biography

Yuou is a PhD student in Applied Linguistics whose research examines how written input shapes second-language speech perception and production, with a particular focus on orthography and phonological development. Her work draws on phonetic analysis and experimental methods. In addition to her work on L2 speech, she is also interested in reading and reading disorders, as well as individual differences in language learning.
