Black Coalition for Aids Prevention
Black CAP is Canada’s largest Black specific AIDS service organization that works to create culturally relevant outreach, prevention and support services for people infected with, affected by, or at risk of contracting HIV. Black Cap delivers support services that meet the health and wellness needs of clients who are living with or affected by HIV or AIDS. To do this, they provide much needed counselling, settlement, practical and peer support, employment, housing and social support services that help people achieve their goals.
Black Cap also work with men, women, youth and LGBTQ communities to increase their knowledge and reduce their vulnerability to HIV, AIDS and sexually transmitted infections. This is accomplished through prevention, outreach and harm reduction programming that is delivered in communities across Toronto.
Black Creek Community Health Centre
They are a non-profit community-based organization that provides health care services and programs geared to vulnerable populations living in Toronto’s North West communities.
The 519
The 519 is committed to the health, happiness and full participation of the LGBTQ2S communities. A City of Toronto agency with an innovative model of Service, Space and Leadership, we strive to make a real difference in people’s lives, while working to promote inclusion, understanding and respect.
Warden Woods Community Centre (WWCC)
Warden Woods is a multi-service agency governed by a local Board of Directors and funded by all three levels of government, the United Way and other generous partners. The Centre provides over 50 programmes and services to over 6000 clients annually out of our main Centre and several satellite locations. This includes: Health Outreach & Support; Assisted Living & Home Help; Crisis Intervention Assistance; 24 Hour Respite Centre and Health & Recreation.
Women’s Health in Women’s Hands
Women's Health In Women's Hands is a Community Health Centre for racialized women living in Toronto and surrounding municipalities. Our primary health care team of highly skilled health care professionals specialize in the health and wellness needs of racialized women and prioritizes those from African, Caribbean, Latin American and South Asian communities.
