An exciting “Math Morning” at the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study

February 16, 2017

This morning, the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study Lab School (JICS) hosted a “Math Morning” that gave an opportunity for parents to see how math is taught and learned at JICS. It also gave me an opportunity to see the amazing math happening at the school!

After touring the classrooms, everyone gathered in Robin Shaw’s Gr. 4 classroom (photo to the left). Principal Richard Messina and Vice-Principal Chriss Bogert, along with Grade 1 Teacher Zoe Donoahue and Grade 3 Teacher Lisa Umansky, led a discussion with parents about the activities that were going on during their day.
