During this workshop, facilitators will share some strategies on creating effective prompts to use with various AI tools and services, and participants will have an opportunity to try some strategies, and compare and share their experiences in real time. This will be a hands-on workshop, so please bring your computer. Having an account on an AI service like Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, even a free version, would be helpful in getting the most out of the workshop. Please note that students, faculty, and staff at the University of Toronto, and many other schools in Canada, often have access to Copilot at no cost; if you aren't sure, please check with your local IT department to find out if you have access to Copilot or some other service.

OI (06-184) - 252 Bloor Street West This presentation explores the current landscape of AI implementation in German higher education through research from the Communicative AI project. It examines how generative AI is reshaping teaching, learning, and institutional practices, while raising critical questions about bias, equity, and governance. The session features four perspectives on student use, neurodivergent learners, institutional strategy, and data migration in educational AI systems.
