System Status Updates

Upcoming Intermittent Outage

Friday, November 25, 2022 at 4:00 PM to approximately 7:00 PM EST

Due to mandatory network infrastructure work (re: University compliance to NDAA 889 (1)(B)), please be advised that the OISE community will experience intermittent connectivity for the following services on Friday, November 25, 2022, starting at 4:00 PM EST until approximately 7:00 PM EST.

Services impacted

Websites that have not been migrated to the OISE Drupal platform as per the list below.

Online applications:

  • Timetable

Onsite services:

  • Printing 
  • Lab 6 computer login
  • APHD computer login

All other OISE websites and services will not be affected.

DiscoverResearch Platform Error

October 7, 2022 - November 3, 2022

Update November 3, 2022

The DiscoverResearch platform has been restored.

The DiscoverResearch platform is currently unavailable, and Faculty profiles located on the platform are currently inaccessible and will display a 403 Forbidden error message.

We have escalated our concerns to the DiscoverResearch team within Central services. Education Commons advocates for a timely restoration of services.

Planned Network Outage

September 26-30, & October 6-7, 2022.

Due to mandatory network infrastructure work, please be advised that phones, printers, and wired network connections will be unavailable on some floors of the OISE building on the following dates:

Monday, September 26 & Tuesday, September 27, 2022:
Floors 8 and 9

Thursday, September 29 & Friday September 30, 2022:
Floors 10, 11 and 12

Thursday, October 6
Floors 6 and 7

Friday, October 7
Floors 5, 6, and 7

Wireless connection will continue to be available throughout the week. Connectivity within LSM classrooms will continue to be operational. Researchers wishing to connect remotely to research lab computers may use our virtual computer lab as an alternative.

MacOS security update

August 19, 2022.

Apple has released an update that fixes a known vulnerability for users running macOS Monterey. We advise members of our community with Apple devices to keep themselves secure by installing the update as soon as possible.
