Biography

As Learning Design Lead at Binogi, I create gamified online learning that celebrates students’ curiosity, encourages exploration, and supports different paths to deep understanding. I’m delighted to be Binogi’s lead collaborator on OISE’s newest partnership project, Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Math Readiness for English Language Learners with Binogi.  

What excites me most is the project’s potential to help students facing barriers to learning—whether that’s interrupted schooling, an unfamiliar language of instruction, math anxiety, or gaps in foundational knowledge. The multilingual tools we’re creating will allow these students to draw on their linguistic, cultural, and cognitive capital to unlock the curriculum and show themselves and others what they can do.
