Liberatory Education Network (LEN)

Reimagining education. Building power. Cultivating possibility.

Education systems are in crisis—not only structurally, but relationally, politically, and imaginatively. Across contexts, schooling has been reshaped by forces that prioritize efficiency, compliance, and market logics over care, equity, and collective wellbeing.

LEN exists in response to this moment.

We are a growing collective of educators, scholars, community organizers, and policymakers committed to transforming education systems through relational, regenerative, and justice-oriented practices.

LEN is not a program. It is not a model.

It is a movement-in-the-making.

Our Aims

LEN is guided by four interconnected aims:

Strengthen Community & Reimagine Relationality

To build communities of practice that cultivate alternative, justice-centered forms of relationality, particularly among those marginalized within dominant education systems.

Dismantle Oppressive Structures

To challenge and dismantle inequitable schooling outcomes.

Reimagine Education Systems

To design and enact new possibilities for education grounded in justice-oriented and intersectional principles, within and beyond schooling.

Build Collective Power

To mobilize networks and advance intersectional, liberatory action and advocacy in education.
