Summer 2026 Important Dates

2026 Summer course schedule posted by noon. 

Note: 2026 Fall and 2027 Winter session course schedule becoming available in early July.

Course selection/enrolment begins at 6:00 am via ACORN for May-to-August, May-to-June and July-to-August courses.

ACORN enrolment activities suspended today. Courses may have spaces that are restricted to certain groups of students. Courses may also have spaces that are temporarily reserved for certain groups of students. All Summer 2026 session (Section: F/S/Y) enrolment activities are suspended on April 1st, while enrolment restrictions are modified to allow other student categories to enrol in any unused spaces in certain courses. On April 2nd 12:00 AM enrolment opens with new enrolment controls, per individual Course Comment on the course schedule.

Registration deadline for students registering or starting their program in the Summer (May-to-August) session; after this date, a late registration fee will be assessed. Minimum required payment due (unpaid fees from previous session[s] + 50% of Summer session tuition fees). A student's status on ACORN will change from "Invited" to "Registered" when registration is complete .

Classes begin for Summer session May-to-June (20265F) and May-to-August (20265) courses. 

Note: The Summer session at OISE typically consists of two 6-week terms: May-to-June and July-to-August. Six weeks sessions run from May 4 - June 13, 2026. Instructors are expected to compensate for any classes that fall on a holiday.

Final date to enrol in May-to-June (F) and May-to-August (Y) term courses via ACORN. Waitlists will be cancelled for May-to-June (F) courses and May-to-August (Y) courses.  

From May 7 to May 11, instructor signed and department-approved course add forms are required.

Coursework must be completed and grades submitted for full-year and Winter session courses (except for extended courses).

Deadline for SDF designation for 2025 Fall session courses to be changed to a regular grade or a failing grade.

Last day of class for May-to-June (20265F).

Final date to drop May-to-August session Y section courses without academic penalty.

The 2026-27 Fall-Winter schedule/ timetable is posted by 5 PM. 

Before you enrol in courses, check the schedule/ timetable for enrolment restrictions additional to those that appear on ACORN.

Master of Teaching program courses will be pre-loaded based on cohorts and programs. Year 2 Master of Teaching students only will be selecting their final elective course in the Fall term (September to December).

Classes begin for Summer session July-to-August courses. Note: The Summer session at OISE typically consists of two 6-week terms. For this particular session, it runs from July 6 - August 15, 2026. Instructors are expected to compensate for any classes that fall on a holiday.

Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Enrolment begins at 6:00am via ACORN.

Last day of July-to-August (S) or May-to-August (Y) classes.

Coursework must be completed and grades approved by Department Chairs for May-to-August and July-to-August courses and 2026 Winter session coursework extensions. Instructors must submit grades in eMarks by September (Date TBD) to ensure approval by this date. Deadline for SDF designation for 2026 Winter session courses to be changed to a regular grade or a failing grade.
