SJE Shines at OISE Virtual Fall Open House
On Saturday, October 4, 2025, OISE welcomed prospective graduate students to its Virtual Fall Open House. The Department of Social Justice Education presented two informative sessions.
Session 1: Doctoral Programs (EdD, PhD)
Sezen Atacan (Graduate Liaison Officer) and Dr. Megan Boler (Associate Chair, External) led the session. Doctoral students Usha Sharma and Abarna Selvarajah shared their experiences, answered questions, and guided attendees through program goals, structure, and the admissions process.

Session 2: Master’s Programs (MA, MEd)
Sezen Atacan and Dr. Megan Boler hosted the master’s session with MA student Mayson Broccoli-Romanowska. The session included a video message from Dr. Ruben Gaztambide-Fernández, Department Chair, and gave prospective students insight into the program, student experiences, and paths for pursuing social justice research and practice.
