OISE GSCTP LHAE

University of Toronto student employees are considered non-appointed employees (i.e., casual employees). If you are a student employee (casual assistant, research assistant, teaching assistant, graduate assistant), you should use Concur to submit eligible business expenses for reimbursement. The reimbursement will be directly deposited into the same bank account listed in your HR record for payroll. 

If you're an active student employee and have previously received reimbursements from the University, submit your claim via Concur.

If you haven’t been reimbursed before, or if your employment has ended but you still have outstanding expenses, please email us at lhae.finance@utoronto.ca. We can assist in updating or setting up a Concur profile for you after which you will be able to submit your claim via Concur.

When creating the expense claim, choose the following information in the claim header:

• Faculty/Division: OISE
• Department: LHAE
• Cost type: Cost centre
• Cost centre: 22743
• Fund centre: UNKNOWN [this will be added by LHAE]

As well, please confirm the awarded amount in the summary of the claim section and provide any additional information that are relevant to the claim, in addition to all the receipts.

If you have never been a student employee, we can create a Concur profile for you and submit an expense claim on your behalf. Email us at lhae.finance@utoronto.ca with the following:

1. Full current mailing address
2. Preferred contact number
3. Preferred contact email
4. Any receipts relevant to your travel
5. Brief description of your travel
6. (if applicable) Email confirmation of your awarded amount from the OISE Graduate Student Conference Travel Program
7. Name of your supervisor
