OISE - Mask while indoors
Dear members of the OISE community,
OISE shares in concerns expressed earlier this week by Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) and we join in strongly recommending the wearing of masks in indoor spaces.
While the University’s mask requirement remains on pause, in line with the CMOH’s guidance, we continue to strongly urge members of the OISE community to wear a well-fitted mask while indoors; this is particularly important in crowded spaces where distancing cannot be maintained. If you are able to wear a mask, please do so as a means of protecting your own health and that of others.
Important reminders:
- Medical masks are available for pick-up at a number of locations across our three campuses, including in our OISE building’s lobby.
- Community members are encouraged to monitor their health by using the Province’s Self-Assessment tool, and should not come to campus if they are feeling unwell.
- The University encourages all members of the community to remain up-to-date with vaccine boosters as soon as they become eligible. COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinics are available on campus.
- COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Tests can be obtained from the Discover Pharmacy by appointment.
