OISE - Mask while indoors

Date:

Dear members of the OISE community,

OISE shares in concerns expressed earlier this week by Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) and we join in strongly recommending the wearing of masks in indoor spaces.

While the University’s mask requirement remains on pause, in line with the CMOH’s guidance, we continue to strongly urge members of the OISE community to wear a well-fitted mask while indoors; this is particularly important in crowded spaces where distancing cannot be maintained. If you are able to wear a mask, please do so as a means of protecting your own health and that of others.

 Important reminders:

Thank you for your efforts in limiting the spread of respiratory illnesses on our campus and in protecting ourselves and in particular, children and those most vulnerable in our society with whom we work.  We encourage you to visit the UTogether website often for the latest updates.
