The Indigenous Education Network brings frontline community and social workers to explore what care looks like in Black and Indigenous contexts. OISE Professor Jennifer Wemigwans with Charlene Avalos, Karen Saunders, and Kathy Neegan will dive into how families are constructed and supported through transitions from childhood to adulthood.

This learning retreat brings together U of T faculty, staff and doctoral students to expand their understanding of Indigenous, experiential and place-based pedagogies as part of a shift towards transformative approaches to sustainability education.

Featuring OISE alum Dr. Wraychel Gilmore of Renegade Consulting and fellow alumni, this session will help educators, school leaders, parents and caregivers build safe, supportive school communities and stop harm through restorative justice practices.
