Arbor Awards

The Arbor Awards recognize alumni volunteers whose loyality, dedication and generosity has made a positive mark at the University of Toronto. 

InspirED Awards

OISE's InspirED Award honours administrators and leaders who have made immense contributions to the education sector. Past recipients include Margaret McCain, Kathleen Wynne, Denise Dwyer, Angela Hildyard, Eric Jackman, and Michael Salvatori.

Leaders & Legends Awards

Our Leaders and Legends Awards recognize the many outstanding contributions of OISE alumni and friends (executive volunteers and donors) with six unique awards.

The six award categories include:  Excellence, Emerging Leader, Innovation, Distinguished Service, Global Service, and Mentor of the Year.

University of Toronto Alumni Awards

Every year, extraordinary members of the University of Toronto community go above and beyond. They mentor students, launch new programs, bring in teaching innovations, grow our community.

U of T honours inspiring people every year with two prestigious alumni awards: The Carl Mitchell Award for Community Engagement and The Rose Wolfe Distinguished Alumni Award.

Natural Curiosity Awards

Edward Burtynsky Award For Teaching Excellence in Environmental Education

The Edward Burtynsky Award at OISE's Natural Curiosity and the Dr. Eric Jackman Insititute of Child Study honours in-service elementary school teachers and early childhood educators for their excellence in environmental inquiry across Canada.

Dr. David Suzuki Fellowship Award

Each year, OISE's Natural Curiosity and the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study honour two promising teacher candidates graduating from an accredited Ontario faculty of education program. The David Suzuki Fellowship recognizes excellence in pre-service environmental education of elementary school children.

We award students who give back

The OISE Alumni Association (OISEAA) Doctoral Fellowship recognizes and supports doctoral students who volunteer with our alumni.
